Default My DS doesn't like to boot up.

Hey guys,
I was wondering what could be wrong with my DS Lite. It doesn't like to boot up even without a game card inserted. I'm was just going to buy a new one but the games work fine when the DS does feel like booting up.

try cleaning the pins where the cartridge goes in to the DS with a cotton bud or something similar ,could be dust build up. and check the battery is properly fitted in.

do you mean your haveing a hard time getting it to power on?

if that the case the power switch is probuley starting to wear out. you can buy third party replacement switches for it pretty cheap I will see if I can scare you up a link a little later.

In that case DigitalUK is correct try cleaning out both cart slots.

Get yourself a can of compressed air, that will help with the cleaning.

Remember to take care not to bend the pins.
