FAQ: How To Edit Any Mii
This FAQ assumes you know how to download/upload Mii files from your Wiimote using BlueTooth and have basic knowledge of hex editing.
1. Open a Mii file that YOU created in WinHex (or whatever editor you prefer).
2. Look for the bytes from offset 1C to 1F. These represent the Mac Address of the console the Mii was created on and the checksum. Write down your Wii's Mac Address bytes.
3. Open the Mii file you want to be able to edit on your Wii console.
4. Look for the bytes from offset 1C to 1F. Change them to the bytes representing your Mac Address that you copied in step 2 and save the file.
5. Upload the edited Mii file to your Wiimote using MiiTransfer. The program should automatically correct the checksum.
6. Copy the Mii from your Wiimote to the Wii console. You should now be able to drag the Mii into the editor.
