Default GCOS from SD, is it possible?

Hello,
I'm new here and I was looking for a way to run GCOS from a SD card.Like using Homebrew Channel.I tried to create a boot.dol file but it won't work.
If there is a way on how to do it, can you post how?
Thank you very much.

Danilo..

Because I've downloaded Metal Gear Twin Snakes and I could run it just with the GCOS that's in wiikey setup disc, and I'm looking for a way to boot it from a SD.
There is another way to boot a game from other region on my wii?
Thanks
Danilo

I want to boot Twin Snakes also (don't have a chip tho). You could use the Gamecube Homebrew Launcher ----> http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Wii_Gamecube_Homebrew_Launcher . You can boot GC homebrew dols with it. I would try, but I'm scared I'd brick my wii. If you do try it, let me know!!

GCOS is not able to be run on the Wii at all.
If you are trying to run gamecube backups you can use the gc homebrew launcher + sdboot or usbboot. (sdgecko and usbgecko respectively) Or if you have a sdml you can use sdboot or usbboot if you have a usbgecko with that.
