wii games freezing on ext. HD
Hi all here are the detais:
Wii on 3.3U
Cios is rev 38 13b
i am using a hitachi desktar 80gb ide drive connecting via usb.
i already installed the homebrew channel and usb loader, wii backup etc. (all the latest versions)
I tried running some of my 12 games from the ext HD using usb loader and all the games i have either don't load or the ones that do load, freeze at some random point.
sometimes i am able to play levels on end, sometimes it freezes on loading. then i gotta cold boot my wii to get it goin again.
even if i try to burn the games to dvd (wii brick blocker patched the isos)and run using wii backup launcher, i am having the same issues.
I read something about the power management of hard drives and it goes into some kinda sleep mode and that might be the cause of the freezing. but i also have the prob with dvds.
can somebody help me on this issue.
