Wii Homebrew noob question

Hi everyone. I just got a wii with drivekey installed. There is a homebrew channel already on there but I have no idea what to do with it.

I know how to burn downloaded iso files and play them, but I am completely in the dark over this whole homebrew thing.

If someone could point me in the direction of a newbie guide to homebrew that would be great. Or alternatively if someone could explain what I can do with the homebrew channel here, that would also help out a lot.

Thanks

Default Let me be among the first to welcome you to Homebrew

Welcome! You can find more information and programs that will run at http://wiibrew.org. Homebrew lets you use your Wii to play games written by other Wii enthusiasts. You can also use your Wii as a media center that plays movies and music from DVD, SD memory cards or a USB drive. There are applications that let you tune into internet radio stations. You can also customize your Wii to boot faster or skip the initial heath warning screens. Now that you have a drivekey you might want to dump your existing disks to an SD memory card or a USB drive and run them from there. Homebrew makes all this and more possible.

Enjoy

i was in the same boat when i started out also. The hombrew has a bunch of cool things, like gba emulators, some games, even a media player. you can check it all out here
....go to the left most screen and click on aplications to see the full list. as for your iso, the program that i use to read it on my wii is usb loader gx, check it out. And in order to move the iso from you CPU to your USB drive, would be to use a program made for the PC called WBFS Manager.

Hope u like it
