Downloading Locks up Homebrew Browser

If this is the wrong place to post this, I apologize.

When I first installed homebrew browser, it was unable to connect to the network. So i placed my Wii inside a DMZ and it seemed to work, however, it usually takes 2 or 3 tries to get it to connect. However, once I connect everything loads, and looks fine. However, once I click download on a piece of software, The entire wii locks up. The cursor stays where I pressed it, and I do not get the status bar that I see in videos online. Does anyone know what exactly may be the issue?

Im running wii 3.3 E, HBC beta9, Newest Browser (0.2.4 downloaded from codemii)
