Default Wii Homebrew and SDHC

As you know, the latest homebrew channel supports SDHC (Storage Disc High Capacity), which means we can use SD cards that are greater than 2GB. But only for homebrew.

I came by a nice deal at future shop, 4gb sdhc card for 15$ so naturally i bought it.

In the homebrew channel it loads up and is just like a normal SD card but now i can't use any of my applications because they have been coded to look for SD cards, USB and other storage devices.

Should i return my SD card and buy a 2gb one or should i wait till the authors recode all their homebrew applications to incorporate SDHC?

The main reason i bought a sdhc card was because the homebrew channel now supports it, is it only a matter of time before that code is distributed and all homebrew apps become sdhc compatible?

I really want to be able to use my apps, such as mplayer to be able to run tv shows i've missed off of the sd card.

Thanks again hopefully you can help me out, or maybe there is a program that enables sdhc compatibility into dol files.h
