No solutions for you yet. The free way would be to open up your wii and wire up your SD reader on your wii to the memory card slot. Other than that you require either an SD gecko or LG drive.
I got the SD Adapter from Deal Extreme. I burned the boot disk with the correct dol file. When I put it in the wii it says to eject the disc and restart the wii because of an error.
I have a D2Pro chip installed. Do you have to use it with a wiikey?
Also if you dont have a wiikey, is there something you can use to dump to an SD using the adapter with it inserted into slot A?
Wii homebrew does not currently have access to the wii DVD drive. You must run it in Gamecube mode. You obviously need a disc to boot the programs on the SD gecko. GC mode has no access to the front slot. You will need a modchip to load GC code, unless the action replay trick still works.
Thank, I just found DVD-SD Backup Utility 0.1g from Softdev. just a dol file. I got it onto a bootable dvd and the program works. Now its just not recognizing my sd card. I think it might be because I have a microsd in an sd asapter. I have a lot of adapting going on here. I think I will order another stand alone 2gb card just for dumping.
Anyone had any experience with the micro sd or minisd using adapter(s)?
