Oh come on.......you NEVER had any problem with this...i'm pretty sure you had a comeback with a damaged laser you clean using chemicals.

Never because of cleaning. Not one in over 15 years.

I never use alcohol of any type to clean lasers or other plastics. Store bought...even 96% contains water. It will leave a film on the part you clean.

Thank you very much cato for the explanation, so to people who uses alcohol or glasses cleaner to clean lasers, you are doing more bad than good.
