Default Wiijunkies crashing

Wiijunkies seems to crash for me whenever I try to patch a game into anything other than Japan region.

When I select the Japan region, I get the spinning dial and the message saying that the ISO is being patched. Great!

When I select either other region (USA, Europe), the program runs for about 3 more seconds and then crashes.

What can I do? Is there a way to correct this? I've tried redownloading Wiijunkies, but I get the same results.

Default WiiJunkies Crashing

I had the same problem with wiijunkies. Wiijunkies does not work anymore. So you can use wii patcher instead, this program is written in java so it will work will any OS. Try it! Works for me. I have OS X Leopard by the way.

Here is the link

WiiPatcher - WikiTemp

Use this if you only want to change the region.

WiigionFree - WikiTemp

Hope this helps!

Is WiiPatcher a region changer too, or are you just selecting the region of the patch when selecting NTSC-U/J, PAL?

When I use the two of those programs - WiiPatcher to remove any patches, and WiigionFree to change from PAL to NTSC-U, the video isn't right. I start it up using Gecko Region Free and it goes to the warning screen with the remote, but the screen is in black and white, and is scrolling up (or down). I can't see the video clearly, and I don't get sound. When I try to boot directly from the menu, the game just hangs.

What did I do wrong?

Wii patcher can be used to change the region also.
