DISCS WITH UPDATES (or which ones to avoid)

I've noticed a lot of people asking about a thread containing a list of discs that contain updates - so here it is. This should also help with the birth of the SaveMii card.

USA Region (x.xU)

PAL Region (x.xE)
Super Mario Kart Wii - v3.2 and optionally adds the Mario Kart channel

JAP Region (x.xJ)

NOTE : This is only a compiled list from everybody else's input. As I always have the latest firmware installed on my Wii I can not confirm/deny any of the above. Always use firmware updates/hacking tools carefully!

Confirmed although the Mario Kart Channel is an option, doesn't install itself unless you select it in the options

I appreciate the effort but its unnecessary. Install StarFall and block updates and you never have to brickblock the ISO or worry about the region of the game.

Not many end users, myself included really want to patch their IOS.

are you kidding? This is much more needed than the region patcher list if you ask me!

With v1.9s of the WiiKey firmware leaving 'region override' on in default and the release of things like the SaveMii - this list is more useful than using BrickBlocker etc.

Also, a lot of 'noobs' don't want or know how to use 'extra' utils (some can't even use WinRar) - so this list is for them.

Anyway, what's wrong with having a list? It doesn't do any harm - and could possibly do some good. Knowledge is power

All it needs now is some audience participation!
