If a new Wii firmware update shows up, you can check this thread for info.

Hopefully, people in the know will post info on it. Mention any problems or incompatibilities with certain modchips/games/homebrew, new ways to block modchips, etc.

MODS PLEASE FEEL FREE TO EDIT THIS POST AS NEW INFO COMES OUT.

The last I heard, the latest is 3.3. And I hear it doesn't do trucha signed disks (whatever that means). Someone want to tell me what #### code this update shows as?

OK so we know that it might be a good idea to stay away from Version 3.3 but how do we know which games are trying to force us to install 3.3?

The newest is 3.4, it blocks the twlight hack, and worst of all, it allows nintendo to update your wii with out asking you.
