Tutorial: Soldering vias for installation of D2cKey/D2Pro/Argon etc. by edhel

Step 1:

Here is your standard Via edit, couldnt find pic of my standard via in focus so we wil leap through time



You muct scratch off the insulation from the via with an X-acto knife/hobby knife as shwon in the picture below:



Step 2:

now Flux the Via with a flux pen/flux syringe whatever floats your boat

Step 3:

you must put a little bead of solder onto the gold contact on the via as shown

Step 4:

now cut your kynar wire to size, and then strip off a little bit of the insulation (2-3 mm)

Step5:

Place the soldering iron and wire ontop of the via and reheat the bead. It should flow onto and up the wire and form a secure join, now give it a gentle tug to test its strength

and you are done repeat to your hearts content.
Thank you and i hope this tutorial helped, please note sometimes the wire angle might seem strange or the postion of soldering iron etc. that is becaus ei dont have three hands so holding a soldering iron, wire and camera is hard
