Default How do you draw more power for d2pro9?

my drives dies and needs power cycle after playing some time.
it's obvious that d2pro is not drawing enough power.
how do you draw more power for d2pro9?
the point of putting the double wire or very think wire for voltage point is to draw enough power right?
so if mine is connected by just single wire (although it's thicker than the rest), this could be why it's doing this, right?

Nah, this is the standard eject issue. We still don't have a definite solution although my thoughts are still with you that it may be a power issue but we don't really have anyone trying too much in regards to this. Try using an external power supply if you're a dab handy in electronics and see what it does for ya

Is it significantly thicker or just a little? (knowing the gauge, AWG or posting a pic would be helpful). Consider replacing the power wires with thicker ones (or two or three smaller ones twisted together) to at least eliminate this as a possible issue.

Have you tried doing the 1.5V fix, and grounding the osc as outlined in this forum?

Do you have news that it is ok now?
This issue still happens with all chips as far as I was aware, if they had fixed it on d2pro then wiikey2, d2sun etc would all be fixed too as lets face it, its the same issue on all of them so its bound to be the same cause

No bro...is not that...it is just I haven't heard that problem in a very long while and I thought it was fixed already. My bad, my bad.

I think people just aren't using the d2pro so much now. It would certainly explain why they released the wiikey 2 to regenerate business and consumer confidence

Actually....I'm using the V3 d2sun and the D2E-A9 and no problems with those two at all....i'm quite comfortable with these two chips for the moment....I really don't have much confidence in the wiikey2 (clone d2lite)
But most of the d2pro systems that have been modded by my competitors, I end up either rebuilding the chip or replacing it with the D2E-A9
