Default D2E "Update Wii" message w/ D2Pro

I just installed the D2Pro modchip (D2E certified) on my D2E Wii and it appears to be working to some degree. I am a newbie and this was my first mod, but everything worked as expected. I fired up my first burned game (TMNT) and it worked fine. Then, I burned a few more and realized that any new games (Mario Kart, SSBB, Madden 09, NCAA Football 09, etc...) come up with an "Update Wii" option when trying to play them. I have read enough to know that this isn't a good thing, so I didnt go through with it. I assume this means I should need some sort of DVD upgrade, but I can't find a D2E upgrade anywhere...

Any help is appreciated!

It is a Wii system update and is required. It doesn't hurt as long as the games are from your region.

Just be very careful and make sure that you dont run updates from discs that are out of your console's region like Havoc said. If you do you will end up with duplicate channels on your Wii menu, and it could also cause other problems.

Yeah the big tip I got was to use a prog like Brick Blocker to read the region of the ISO before burning & putting it into my wii. Definitely awesome.
