I don't think it's a media problem. cuz before mine started reading, it didn't read the same discs that I'm playing now.

Default D2ProV2 with clip not reading discs

This was a pre-mod chip and clip from ozmodchips. With clip on, it won't read discs. Remove clip and discs are read fine. I've reseated the clip multiple time but no luck.

What am I doing wrong?

the biggest problem with the clips is the pins do not always properly touch the pins on the chipset.

Try this first.

Gently bend the pins toward the center of the clip, really carefully, then reseat clip.

I have had several people send me there clips to install since they could not get it to work.

99% of them, I just bend the pins out a little and it works

Let me say that I do not directly blame ozmodchips. They are a very reputable and dependable vendor. All vendors occasionally have issues. Sometimes they get a bad batch of chips or something changes with the chip and they do not realize they need to do something special or they sometimes make mistakes. The definition of a good vendor is not that they make no errors (although that would be nice), it is that they support their product and work with you to resolve the issue without making you crazy, wait for weeks, or pay excessive amounts to resolve the issue. And by the way I am not on the oz payroll or anything

this is why i always place my orders "local" & only buy from international sellers when they are the only option available.

I have d2pro9 V2 with with V4c-9 clip installed. I assume I have a d2c2 chip on my WII. After I installed the clip, the dvd drive won't spin and only blue LED stay on, but I still can see the WII menu. What if my WII is d2c chip, is the d2pro9 V2 with V4c-9 clip will have different solder point(like CLK J point)?

I think I got defective mod chip (DOA) from osmodchips.com. It has a small dent on the SPI. The blue LED always solid on and I can't insert any disc.
