Unmoddable Wiis? D2C - Page 6

Looks like this unmoddable wiis are true?
Getting more and more reports.

And they come "unmarked"

What I want to know...has anyone seen one not working in a wii that has a longer serial number than one that is working...i.e. can we figure out a serial number cut off when they starting using the new drives.

it takes us about 10 minutes to check if its moddable or not, no soldering etc is involved.
we've purchased quite a few new ones all of them were modded fine from that date range.

I've modded a few Wii's with nothing but GC2-D2C on them. Seems pretty legit though, lots of professional modders reporting it. Ill post pics/info if I come accross one. Thanks for the info guys.

Just watch out using the clip on solutions again and again as they stop working properly and do not connect after you insert it and take it off a few times, so may give false positives.

I'll just get a 9 wire Argon or D2Pro then. They're easy enough to solder quickly. I have both the injectus and d2programmers if either team comes up with a solution that can be flashed onto existing chips.

did another one today and couldnt be done....serial number lu566 bought from EB games last weekend at markville mall...seems like a issue starting with the lu56's

Just did 2 others LU562..... with Argons and everything is fine !

just did 3 and they are fine, d2pro 15 wires from ozmods. didnt try argons yet, all LU56 - LU 58
