When you run the config disc, it will show the version for both HW and SPI.

Default How Do I Install A D2pro9 On A Db2 Non Cutless

Guys i just got a free D2Pro9 for my birthday from a buddy of mine, I have a non mod db2 wii. If anyone can help me with providing me instructions or links on how i can install the d2pro9 to the db2 i would appreciate it.

Is it the same installation as a d2c? The pins are not cut, and i know you cant use the v4c wii clip on a d2b right? thank you so much...

d2pro : Resources

5/9 wire installation guide.

D2B install is 5 wires.... the 3 to legs, and one other are not needed.

You can use a clip v4c if you like - just make sure you only solder the points needed for D2B - and insulate the rest.

Are you sure the D2Pro is a 9 wire version? (Does it have SPI flash?) If it's one of the older 19/15/13 wire versions you won't be able to use it with d2b.... you'd have to solder on a SPI flash chip, get a d2prog, reprogram it... You'd be better off just buying a wiikey or free clip or something if this is the case - D2B chips are really cheap and easy to install.
