Exclamation Wii-clip problem when Wii closed

Hi,
I have bought a wii-clip presoldered with a d2ckey. I have a wii with a d2c chipset. I have put the wii-clip on the chip as harder as I can. It is now perfectly set over the chipset and the motherboard.
The backups works perfectly when the wii is open (but sometimes I get a black screen). The red light is on and the blue one is blinking.
But when I close the Wii (just the dvd drive over the other part without the screws), it doesn't works anymore. Sometimes I can see the backup on the main screen but when I launch it it goes on a black screen.
I have set the 2 protections against the short cicruit.
Do you have any idea on what the problem could be ?
Thanks for your answers !!

I installed presoldered D2CKey with Wii clip with its protecting lables.
I am able to run the orginal disks fine, I get "cannot read disk" error for backup disk. the chip has green light on and stays on I did not see blue or red light coming on.
I am using Verbatim DVD-R with nero and LG burner.

dont use nero, find IMGBURN here or on the internet.

also, burn at 1x

as far as closing goes, you have something that is not in place right because you must be applying too much pressure on something when you close it. Are you sure the drive is sitting correctly in its place? I had alittle trouble with lining it up and did, initially, but it together incorrectly my first time

I have had success with verbatim -r 4.5 and DL. Memorex also worked(made by ritek) at 1x. TDK did not work at any speed, nor did fujifilm. These were burnt on an LG external.

Also, I have a d2cpro on a presoldered wii-clip. make sure the clip is flush against the board. Also, wiggle the chip alittle to get the contacts to touch better.

But first, I would get rid of nero, go to imgburn and and burn at 1x.

Discovered the clip was not seating properly. I was bit scared at first to push it further down with all that pressure. after fitting it almost flush to the board it started working fine. Verbatim worked, I had few staples dvds those work fine too.
thanks
