I've got Vista Home prem(x64) . I had to do the same thing. I kept running EVERY buld there was under Admin. No go for me. Turned off UAC... and away we went works like a charm.

I do have a question though. Sonic and the Black Knight stops before initial load. ISO works fine on DVD. Jelly Belly Ballistic Beans says it's only .17 GB. Ten Pin Alley 2 reports .35 GB. The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy .86GB . All of these ISO work fine on DVD and are the correct size 4.37 GB but report incorrect size when ripped to HD and do not work.

What could be the problem? So far Guitar Hero Metallica , Deadly Creatures are they only games I could get to work correctly playing from my USB HDD(WD 250GB). I tried ripping Mario Kart with the USB loader and it doesnt work for me. Any ideas?

Just wanted to mention that the release for the next (and probably my last) version of WBFS Manager (2.5) will be very soon. I'm awaiting one last translation before releasing it.
Afterwards I'll be releasing the source code for the whole application (I'm nearly done cleaning it up)
Many of the requested features are available in 2.5. Channel creation remains elusive though. I've got some ideas and code for how to do it, but I'm a bit stuck on it at the moment.

I presume channel creation relies on encapsulating some version of the boot loader. I wonder if it will be possible to "update" a channel with a new boot loader version... or if that'd even be needed. I suppose it may be for future Wii system firmware versions.

I am stuck!

I have installed WBFS Manager 2.2.2 and have plugged in my hard disk drive, but it will not let me format it WBFS through the program (how long should it take for the program to do so?)... nothing happens when pushing format... and when inserting the harddisk into the wii and launching usbloader it just tells me that no WBFS partion was found :S

EDIT: this is my harddisk: http://www.aldi.dk/OFFER_DK_COMP/OFFER_10/OFF06.SHTML
