Ok first of all thanks for the reply!

I have installed cIOS rev13a and the channel fowarder to install rev8 of GUIFX. But it still wont recognise my HDD. If its in the right usb port (looking from the back of the wii) The program takes a few seconds to load.. but no list of games. If its in the left the program starts immediatley but still no game list. i can scroll through the pages and bring up the home menu but if i press one i get a DSI dump and i cannot access the config!

Im stuck in a rut here coz version 7 of this program really is the only one that consistently reads my HDD, and that is only with 249rev9!

That looks bad.
drive is talked to through the cios, so there isn't anything that I can do on that part.

Does it work with v9 (RC8 i mean)?

No.. it didnt.. not til yesterday when i bought a new drive!

I got a LaCie 250gb portable drive.. and it worked the first time it tried it... then stopped... im guna have another fiddle when the mrs goes out. she doesnt like it when i tech out and dont speak to her.. il let you know the result.

Btw. is it important to delete the old cIOS before i install a new one?

hmmm im having no luck... i think i need some help with cIOS installation... i have a hell of a lot of IOS files show up in anytitle deleter! could this be my problem?

do not delete any ios! or at least nothing with text or numbers under 100!

cios is 248, 249 and 250. those are the only ones you could delete.

great work on the loader...

here are some strange observations (for me at least):

RC8 works with the HDD in the top and bottom USB
Channel and USB Loader 1.5 works with HDD in the bottom USB

extracted main.dol with scrubber

patched with genric wii patcher

002 error now gone but just get black screen when trying to boot, wtf now spent hours on this shit, any help aprrecited



ps updated cios38 rev 14 already and same shit

also tried about 3 different loaders neogammer n the like and they are same

Neogamma loader R4 ( not R7 R6 etc) and cios38 R13b

load time are loooooooong so patients is needed, any ideas why this is?????????????????????
