I'm using Windows XP Pro SP3, used to have vista on my laptop, now only on my desktop. Probably has to do with fonts or text size or something.

A progress bar would probably help with adding and extracting so people just dont think its frozen.

Default Alittle confused!

Ok im alittle confused here. I installed USB loader 1.1 on my Wii. I then installed WBFS Manager on my desktop. Im running XP Home edition. I plugged in my USB drive and formatted it. Then I plugged into my Wii and ran USB Loader and added a game to my drive. I then plugged my USB drive back into my desktop and ran WBFS manager again but now it wont find my drive? Did I miss a step here? Or do i need to do something else so that windows will find my USB drive again? Im lost please help?

That's part of my plan for the next iteration (depending on interest), to put in a progress bar and make it a little more responsive.

@alaricmucino: Windows will not be able to read and mount the drive, so you wont see it in Windows Explorer. That's the reason WBFS Manager is there. So basically when you plug it in, it should get assigned a drive letter in Windows Explorer but if you try to open it it'll tell you that it needs to be formatted. What you need to do is run WBFS Manager, select the drive letter that corresponds with the USB stick and click load. You should then see your games in the list on the left hand side.

I'll be working a bit more on this over the weekend as I'm a bit busy at the moment, but expect some fixes to those responsiveness issues soon.

I had the same at first what i did was format my usb drive ( i have a 80gig) i used EASEUS Partition Master 3.5 Home Edition( s/w is free) to Resize/ move partitions to 40gig for usb loaader i did not want to lose the other stuff i had on it .

1. Select the hard disk partition to be resized or to make.

2. Click Partitions > Resize / Move.

3. On the disk map, current size of the partition is displayed on the top of the dialog box. The map also depicts the used and unused space within the partition and the free space surrounding the partition (if any exists). The minimum and maximum sizes that you can resize a partition appear below the map.

4. Position the mouse pointer on the left or right partition handle.

5. The mouse pointer changes to a double-headed arrow.

6. Drag the handle to the partition size you want.

7. Click OK.

format it using EASEUS Partition Master 3.5 Home Edition as fat32 and create it as a primary drive and pick a Drive letter that is no been used on your pc click ok then click "Apply" up the top to the left of the window once that is done close that down.
Now open WBFS Manager 1.0 Select your drive letter and click Format etc
once that is done close WBFS Manager 1.0 fire up your wii plug in your usb harddrive fire up usb loader v1.1 and a way you go you should be fine from here .
Once i did this and made my drive "primary" formated it with WBFS Manager 1.0 then i put in usb loader put on some games then went back to WBFS Manager 1.0 did they shosw up .

hope this helps ?

Default re

in one word, PERFECT!!

Works perfect, running it into Vista Ultimate SP1.
it's take about 4 min to convert 4 game's into the drive.

the only thing what can be change is, when it is bussy, the screen give a message "do not react any more" but when is finisch then its works fine.

keep up the great work guys
