still need some help solving the HBC installation problem..
Another method i used (Hitman's). also based on bannerbomb, and the difference is that instead of WAD Batch installer, WAD manager 1.4 is used to install the cIOS wads seperately.
The downgradeIOS35.wad process is the same..
First i tried to run DowngradeIOS35.dol.. it runs fine, updates and the Wii reboots (or goes back to loadMii).
Instead of Wad Batch installer i run Wad manager 1.4.. runs fine, but then it ask me what IOS to use to install IOS35.wad.
As my Wii probably already has cIOS249 installed somewhere it want's to use that one.
If i choose IOS249 my console freezes again.
So another reset to get out of there.
So how do i remove cIOS249 (i want to start over).. Please note that i tried Any title deleter (copied to my SD apps folder), but this one is no-go without HBC installed first i think, and it did not show up in the loadMii menu...
i do not know another method to remove wads if HBC isn't installed yet.
Or....
How do i manually install the rest of the wads using Wad manager 1.4 (or another manager)?
I need to know what default system IOS to use before installing IOS35.wad, cIOS249.wad, IOS36.wad and HBC.wad (if IOS249 wasn't installed yet, as it were)
And could it be that maybe the bannerbomb method is not suitable for 3.4E consoles, and the Zelda method is still mandantory?
