Timing their SSD solution, it takes about 35 seconds. My USB Loader takes about 33 seconds (Western Digital 2.5" harddrive).
Of course, either way, standard deviation is probably about +/- 1-2 seconds so I would say that they were virtually the same. Is SSD really necessary? Nope. Either is definitely faster than discs. And without the noise.
