Yo AlexDP,

finally I found out _the_ reason for the weird behaviour with the wbfs difference when using the format option in your tool in opposite to the feature in the USB loader (1.1) on the Wii. :-)

But first, here goes what happened:

1. It happened to me when formatting the drive partition with wbfs manager (1.2 - doesn't really matter) and copied some games onto it that when I plugged in the drive into the Wii and started the USB loader that it told me there wouldn't be a wbfs partition found on the drive. Hence I couldn't see any of the games I already copied onto the drive. When I plugged the drive back into the PC starting up your wbfs manager, everything was still there though!

2. So I (re-)formatted the partition with the USB loader and it said ok. It even worked to copy a game to the drive using the USB loader itself.

BUT:
When I plugged the drive back into the PC the partition wasn't recognized by winXP as it was shown as 'unused space' in the drive-management section!!!
And without a valid drive letter (which I also couldn't assign to a 'unused partition' in windows!!) I couldn't use your wbfs manager to load the partition which already got a game on it at this point.

This was a vicious circle now somehow. As if I formatted the drive again using your manager it would end up as 'not found partition' in the USB loader after all! ;-)

So I started from SCRATCH again to finally find out WHAT the reason for this could be.

Here's the RESULT then: :-)
I ended up in another re-partitioning the drive for a new re-format trial into wbfs.
So I noticed that any previous FAT32 partition I made before was done as a 'logical partition' as default by those partitioning tools (I used acronis disk suite!).
So I changed this to now being a PRIMARY partition for this time!

After partioning was done I assigned a drive-letter as usual and started up your wbfs-manager using the format option now again.
Then I copied some games onto that fresh space and went plugging it back into the Wii.

And...TADAAA!!! The USB loader finally listed the game entries the way it was expected from the very beginning! ;-)

So fact is (in short):
BE SURE TO CREATE THE FAT32 PARTITION WHICH IS THE ONE YOU WANT TO FORMAT INTO WBFS LATER ON AS PRIMARY and NOT AS LOGICAL one as the USB loader won't recognize it in the end then!

Hope I could help some people out here to avoid further wondering and hassling about what could be the reason for that behaviour if appearing... ;-)
