Firmware is 3.2U. Anyone know a way around this? I have tried the one that does both at once yet. I may do that if no one has any ideas about this one.

EDIT: Got the one by Tona to work. Thanks for these!! I wonder if this is easily reversed if need be?

EDIT2: I thought it was going to work, but it got IOS51 installed, but not the shop channel. Still fighting with that one. Gets to content 10/18 and then fails.

EDIT3: Finally got it installed. Had to go through it like 3 times. Took forever, but finally got it
How did you get this to work? AS per your post and karyuudo's post, I'm getting the same error when running this (or the cIOS_installer that comes with the backup launcher). I'm currently on firmware v3.3U and I have a network connection (I can surf the internet on the Wii - so I would assume the network connection is fine).

I should also mention that this is a 'virgin' Wii that I just setup for homebrew today. I ran the Twilight hack and installed the latest HBC. Then tried installing this cIOS installer and got the error, then I tried the cIOS installer that came with the backup launcher and got the same error as well.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

Thanks.

*EDIT* - After posting this, I went and tried the cIOS installer that comes with the backup launcher, and it worked perfectly this time. I don't know why... but hey... it worked!

Another question then... do I need to bother running this WiiShop and IOS51 installer? Does it overwrite the cIOS from the backup launcher?
