Yes, on the 3.3 update, you have to boot them through the GeckoOS/Region Free, which you can download from
here. If I understand correctly, it uses a version of the IOS which Nintendo has not yet patched. Meaning, when they patch it, this method of loading "trucha" signed discs will no longer work.
