Look, your "file" should be a *.ISO file, look at the end of the file, the filename extension should be .ISO If so, just select the ISO and burn it.
If it's not an ISO, then I guess choose the option to make it an image (ISO), I'm at work right now so I can't really physically do it myself, otherwise I would.
And no, it doesn't matter which version of IMGburn you use, you can use any burning program really, IMGburn, Nero, Alcohol, etc etc, I just prefer IMGburn.
