I have the exact same problem. I'd also like to know if there's a solution.
Otherwise I've just assumed it's because MFE is still unstable, but I haven't seen any progress in the MFE project for a while. Is there someone still working on it?
Also, and this might be just me, but in the videos I have tried I've seen a noticeable difference in picture quality when compared to the same video playing on a PC using VLC. The picture just seems more "grainy". I'm assuming this is because of the way MFE does resizing.
