Yoasm 3.x configuration and config discs. Date: 2008-05-10
Compatible with all yaosm 3.x versions.
Features- Combined with GCOS so it can also be used to boot your GC imports
- Can be controlled with reset button. Press once to enter yaosm config. Short press moves "cursor", long press changes/actives option.
Included upgrade- Update blocker (like WiiKeys but should also work with MarioKart (not tested))
- Wii backup autoboot. Considered experimental. Won't work with SSBB.
- Hard codes your region so that the eeprom value is no longer used. Recommended as yaosm 3.0 and 3.1 can get a corrupted region setting in the eeprom.
A little note about the Update Blocker. Sometimes you may need an upgrade that is included on a disc. Instead of using the config disc to turn the Update Blocker off you can just use the "recovery feature" of yaosm to temporary disable the upgrade.
Turn your Wii on (from power off, not standby) and pull the power connector after about 1 second. Restore power and power up the Wii. This time yaosm boot in non-upgraded mode until you powercycle the Wii again.
