I would be nice if we could compare files from the same VC games from the same region to see if the files are the same.

Since posting these files would be illegal, I would suggest maybe listing the MD5 hash value from files in a given game to see if they match.

So far these are the channel ids I could find:

It appears that the Ids have something to do with the 4 char code for the title.


Super Mario 64 US: 4E414145
Mario Kart 64 US: 4E414245
Vote Channel US: 48414A45
Internet Channel US: 48414445
Metroid Prime 3 Preview US: 48415745

If you break down the Id numbers you can figure out what the 4 char ID is.

for ex: Mario 64
4E = N = N64 Game
41 = A
41 = A
45 = E = USA Game

For this, the Game ID is NAAE
The hexadecimal representation for NAAE is 4E414145

If posting the MD5 from the files from the dump is against forum policy, I'll set up a separate website dedicated for this.

I won't list any MD5's until I am told if I can.

In the meantime I will set-up the website.
