I'm not too sure where that key is located, but even if it was located in the filesystem, there would be no way as of now to write back onto it with the gathered information.
Frankly, I would be a little frightened to write over my Wii's filesystem unless it is a brand new dashboard (like the original Xbox) or unless it is a VERY simple layout.
Just me though, I know people who "shoot from the hip" when it comes to this stuff. Sometimes it's successful, sometimes it fails.
