the wii only supports 480p resolution so it can't play HD video. you know that. If you have HD dumps, then you must have a HDTV. In that case, you have DVI or HDMI inputs. you can hook your laptop up to the TV and watch them in HD. I can't get my laptop on my tv, because its linux and the svideo isn't easily supported and it doesn't have dvi out either.
