Easy, to play SNES games on Virtual Console. The GC controller does not work well for certain SNES games because the buttons are mapped oddly. The most important example is Super Mario World, one of the few must get virtual console games. Unless you have a chipped wii, this is really the only way to play it.
A classic to GC adapter would be awesome, especially wireless, because it could be used with GC homebrew. It'd make the emulators more comfortable. There's something unsettling about playing Punch Out (or any other game) with a GC controller.
